A series of photos and illustrations depicting my personal creative process and internal monologues, deliberations and conflicts. I personally find the most happiness and satisfaction through creation. Over the last 8 months I’ve created the most work that I’ve ever made in a given period, some of which that I consider my best and worst work to date. I decided to call my sophomore portfolio “TALKING TO MYSELF” because I’d find myself spending hours having inner monologues with myself trying to come up with an idea to convey a thought, feeling or emotion- mostly revolving around feelings of anxiety and loneliness. My work parallels my tendency to talk to myself. The ideas that flow freely from my solitude are summarised into an image.
