This poster is advocating the use of compost to fertilize the trees that are regrowing after being torn down during the deforestation epidemic. I created this poster using scanned images of compostable materials. I collaged these images together and masked them to form the shape of a tree. Each material is labelled, like in a diagram, to give the viewer examples of what they can compost.

This poster was created for the Segunda Llamada Environmental Poster Competition. This is an 
international competition that asks designers to raise social and environmental awareness through 
creation of activist posters.

I decided to create a poster educating its viewers about composting and how that could help reduce trash waste, as well as help fertilize our regrowing trees that were a result of deforestation.

In 2018, this poster placed among the top 50 posters worldwide.

In 2019, this poster placed among the Top Talent of the Adobe Awards.
