We believe that Metropolitan Museum of Art should be accessible to everyone including children. Since the MET requires a considerable amount of knowledge of art history, it is difficult for children to enjoy the experience. Met Polaris is a smart compass that is intended to help children aged 8-12 enjoy the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Met Polaris provides a gamified experience to the children which gives them a motivation to visit the museum repeatedly and learn about the art pieces. The early stages: user research, scoping down the problem area, and brainstorming ideas, were done together as a group. Once the project concept has been decided I individually developed the concept into a smart compass product.
