It's flawlessly executed; the illustrations are gorgeous, the messaging is great, there's a really fun font that comes to life... There are many aspects around this that you can fall in love with.

This project was developed in a Design Innovation course at the Glasgow School of Art, during which Zoulinaki was focused on formulating social interventions. She began by observing everyday social situations and collecting insights about potential problems people encounter in their regular interactions. Insights led to opportunities and potential solutions that could, in short, improve people’s lives.
Zoulinaki's investigations led her to focus on recycling behavior in the city of Glasgow. After observing the low rate of recycling practiced by Glasgow citizens, she deciced to design improved human interactions with recycling bins – with adolescents and children as her primary target users.
Her dynamic typographic system is a reference to Glasgow art nouveau icon C.R. Makintosh. It pairs beautifully with her playful illustrations of friendly monsters that form the backbone of the campaign, appearing online, in print, and even on recycling bins where they transform inanimate objects into hungry, humorous creatures impossible for passersby to ignore.
