The Apples of Youth and the Water of Life is a Russian Folk Tale, which I have visually developed for an animated film concept. In the tale, the mysterious Baba Yaga sisters provide prince Ivan with a horse for each leg of his journey. The work is produced using Photoshop, each horse is based on a Russian horse breed and their concept design is intended to enhance the story. The last piece is a keyframe of Orlov utterly aghast to find that little Misty takes over the next leg of the journey with Ivan because she can run further and faster!
